Fuzzy

This is my nephew's pet, more so a friend, Fuzzy. He told me that Fuzzy likes cupcakes, so we gave him a cupcake.

Well, Fuzzy may like cupcakes, but he wasn't hungry. So my nephew ate his cupcake. Mmm

A new flavor

I've been wanting to experiment with raspberries and I think I was pretty successful. I paired pumpkin cupcakes with raspberry& white chocolate cupcakes filled with raspberry jam...... a perfect duo for the holiday season.

New Treasure

Not too long ago my father gave me the best gift- My grandmother's typewriter when she was a journalist in the 1950's-60's. I just love old typewriters>#@^! they're so classy. All I needed to do was replace the ribbon and I was ready to type my first novel. haha, not really, but I do love the gold decal, 'Woodstock' on the paper table( typewriter lingo). I let my mind wander and soon I was baking tie-dye cupcakes( maybe it was the whole 'Woodstock' thing).

All that glitters is ............

That's right! Gold was the theme for the art gallery opening I catered. Serena Cole was the featured artist in her first solo exhibition. Her art is captivating, mysterious and just breathtaking( she is brilliant with watercolors!) View her exhibition at the Triple Base Gallery in San Francisco through December 20~

A night at Baggy's by the Lake

I made a surprise visit to see mt friend, Parisa, who works at possibly the coolest bar in the East Bay, Baggy's by the Lake . What seems like your local neighborhood dive bar on the outside is actually quite charming on the inside~ they have a pretty good selection of 70's rock & 60's soul on the jukebox.

~ She was delighted to see that I brought cupcakes with me~

~ I've been experimenting
with new frosting ideas and decor.
Everybody loved the
mini Cookie Monster chocolate cupcakes~

What's This?

Energy boost

My dad does a pretty intense bike ride from San Francisco to Monterey with his bike club annually. This year he took these mini cupcakes with him to share after crossing the finish line.

Back To school

I recently did an order for a teacher who thought it would be a great idea to offer mini cupcakes to his students on the first day.
" I hope this will be incentive to keep them motivated" he told me.
The result: " You're my favorite teacher!"

Oakland Art & Cupcakes

We recently catered cupcakes for artist Monica Lea Jones.
I dropped off the cupcakes
before the show and we took a pic, see us below :)
but sadly I had to jet and couldn't stay for the
event ~ I heard it was really fun. Monica was so nice to send me
some pictures of some cupcakes.
